The Courtyard, Atrium and Plaza buildings, and adjacent alleys, can host your reception, meeting, fundraiser, corporate outing, festival, trade show, seminar or social gathering. The DCC is proud to welcome Best Impressions Caterers to The Courtyard building. As the exclusive, onsite caterer for the DCC, Best Impressions can provide full-service catering for your event. Best Impressions™ state-of-the-art kitchen and catering facility at the DCC can cater large and small, formal and informal events -- at the DCC or at your own venue. Best Impressions Caterers, one of Charlotte's most in-demand catering companies for more than a decade, provides catering for upscale, fine dining, wedding receptions, social and civic events, and corporate functions. Founded by Dave Byron, Best Impressions Caterers is the heart and soul of an operation that includes Byron's South End and The Grill & Picnic Company. In addition to catering events in the DCC's distinctive event spaces, Best Impressions Caterers operates Byron's South End, a 5,000-sq.-ft. banquet facility accommodating up to 400 people. Byron's South End combines the historic ambiance of the former Nebel Knitting Mill with urban style, and sophisticated lighting and sound systems to complement events ranging from professional meetings to formal receptions. Its proximity to the other DCC spaces creates unique indoor/outdoor options for events. Byron's South End hosts meetings for such organizations as the Dilworth-South End Rotary and the Charlotte Chapter of the Public Relations Society of America. For your casual events, The Grill & Picnic Company, a division of Best Impressions Caterers since 1992, will provide quality food, service and presentation for such informal gatherings as company picnics, private barbecues, or oyster and shrimp roasts.
